The program brought together three disparate elements in the Company’s portfolio: the United States corporate office, the northeast regional offices and a showroom of exclusive apparel.
The design intervention integrated the program elements through an open floor plan with plentiful break out spaces punctured by a unique metal stair surround by open lounges leading up to a large pantry. This layout allows for chance meetings and encourages collaboration.
The aged steel, custom storefront system, subway tile utility wall, and wood parquet inlays were designed to evoke a timeless office, striving for a classic NY City ideal. Grant was the lead design liaison with the client and handled all the construction administration for the $11,000,000 project by himself, including all RFIs, submittals and SK requests.
